Do Binaural Beats Really Work For Anyone?

Binaural beats is a new technology being used by new age groups. It is difficult to say whether this technology works as well as the New Age advertising claims but it is very interesting to say the least. Basically, it is headphones that affect sound waves affecting your brain.

The way I understand, binaural beats are similar to hypnotism which affects the mind. They can create a out of body experience which is something New Age groups get into quite often. Binaural beats are being used by the medical professionals to help people deal with addiction by putting the person into a meditative state.

Supposedly, they also helps with astral-projection, telepathy and basically any out of body experiences. It is still being researched as to whether this technology actually produces the results claimed by many. Binaural Beats work on most people to some degree but everyone's individual experience will differ.

It was discovered in 1839 by Heinrich Wilhelm Dove but nothing more was said on it until Dr. Gerald Oster wrote a paper on it in 1973. Basically, the way binaural beats works is that two different tones are played, one into the left ear and one in the right. Because of this a single pulsating sound is heard. Whether this can actually alter brainwaves is still really unknown.

You may choose to believe it or not although it doesn’t hurt to try. You’ll see that listening to the pleasant white noise can be very relaxing. Binaural beats can help you free your mind and help you achieve the things that you never thought possible. The well known effect of listening to binaural beats is that it trains your brain to do anything that it might otherwise find difficult to accomplish on its own.

These beats can also help you focus on doing the things that you find difficult doing. Binaural beats are great for mediation and can also help you get rid of some health problems such as anxiety and depression. These beats are a great way to get away from it all. You will have to listen to them through headphones so it forces you to shut off the noise of the rest of the world. This way, your brain has time to focus on what is really important. Like I said, it doesn’t hurt to try so start listening to binaural beats now and you will notice the difference right away.
